Tips for Moms-to-be

Salam.

Hari ni aku masih lg  bekerja.
Tgh siapkan album yg tertangguh hrtu.
Sementara aku merehatkan kepala dr kerja2 editing ni, saje je nk post sikit tips utk bakal mommies..
Ni from my experience sikit2 la & from some bacaan jugak.

Tips yg aku nak bg ni utk org2 yg  pregnant ye..

1. Bg yg nak breastfeed anak, sila massage your breast mcm yg doctor tunjukkan.
Biasanya, masa 1st checkup your doctor will tunjuk how to  massage your breast.
So, rajin2 la buat..nnt milk production byk.
Aku tak rajin buat..so production sikit.  Kene la carik petua2 nk bykkan susu ni.

2. Few weeks b4 your due date, apply cream for  breast care like Lanolin or apa2 cream yg utk sore/cracked nipples.
Why? Sebab nnt bile baby dah lahir, breastfeeding won't come easy (especially for first time mothers).
Bila you apply cream ni awal2,  b4 baby keluar, it will minimize any problems caused by breastfeeding.
Ni penting. Kalo nipples dh  melecet or bleed, korg xleh nk bg sgt sbb sakit bila baby hisap.
So, better sapu cream regularly few weeks b4 bersalin ok. It will minimize it je..but better than nothing kan.

3. Lagi satu yg penting. Applying Olive Oil dekat perut. Mengelakkan stretchmarks.
Yang ni mak aku pesan byk kali. Rajin2 sapu Olive Oil dekat perut, breast, peha..mana2 part yg membesar masa korg pregnant la.
Kalo sapu sejak pregnant, insya-Allah stretchmarks after bersalin tak ada or tersgtlah kurang.
Alhamdulillah, aku check perut aku..none. =)
Oh, tak payah beli yg mahal mcm Bio-Oil pun xpe. Aku pakai brand Ginvera je. =)

4. Sila lah beli Nursing Bra byk2 k. Mmg la mahal satu tu..tp check out Sale atau promotion.
Kalo korg tak kesah yg x lawa pun xpe...plain je. Yg tu mmg murah, ade yg RM15 satu.
Kalo yg lawa2..agak mahal jugak. Tapi aku beli ms promo.
Yg bagus punye check dekat Fabulous Mom.
Aku pegi kedai dia yg dekat TTDI..byk jugak aku borong..baju2 baby sekali.
To be safe, beli yg xde wire. For breastfeeding mom, wired bra susah sikit takut breast korg jd engorged/tersumbat.

5. Makan lah ape yg korg nak makan skrg. Nnt pantang mcm2 xleh mkn (although kalo ikut doctor, bole je nk mkn ape2 pun). Before bersalin hrtu, aku melantak pizza sorg2  &  makan  mcm2. Yela, sebab sickness aku smpi 9 bulan. Bila dh bole makan, aku makan la ape2 yg aku nak. Hehe.

6. Amalkan minum air kelapa. Baby keluar bersih, x banyak darah melekat kat die..byk lendir putih  je.

7. Amalkan minum susu jugak. Masa aku dh bole makan & minum apa je..aku byk makan cereal dgn susu. It's not only good for your pregnant bones, tapi bgs utk baby jugak.

8. Amalkan lots of veggies! Pregnant women constipate (sembelit) all the time..oh, lepas bersalin lg extra sembelit ok. So, take lots & lots of veggies & drink lots of water. Kalo teruk sgt, makan Senokot.
It will melembutkan the thing la.


9. Enjoy your free time masa pregnant. Lepas pregnant, no play2 dah. =)

10. Get your husband to read this. He needs to know how much he is going to spend on you & baby. Lepas bersalin, lg berkali2 ganda.
And husband NEED to be very supportive! After baby lahir, husband cannot be negative to wife coz hormone after bersalin will make us very fragile emotion-wise. Kene tolong the wife bcoz sakit bersalin belum pulih. Kalo bole amik paternity leave, pls take it!
Keyword here is SUPPORT. Always support coz seriously wife will be very2 fragile after the hormone kick in. Usually day after bersalin.
Oh, husband kene tau handle baby on his own. Important for bonding & utk ringankan beban isteri.
And kene byk BERSABAR.

Insya-Allah with these tips, I hope we can all achieve the best for our baby & our life as parents.

    suppose you were to write a awesome title? I ain't suggesting your content isn't
    good, however suppose you added a post title that makes people
    want more? I mean "Tips for Moms-to-be" is kinda plain. You might look at Yahoo's home page and note how they write article headlines to get viewers interested. You might add a video or a pic or two to grab people interested about what you've written.
    Just my opinion, it might make your website a little
    livelier.
